What is Indian Block Printing..
An ancient art involving hand-carved blocks with ornate patterns, paint is applied and then pressed onto fabrics to create unique and beautiful hand-made prints.
My blocks are all sourced from India, via the The Indian Block Print Co based in Oxfordshire. With an ethical approach to supporting the families who carve the blocks in India, each piece is unique and handcrafted, supplied with fairtrade principles and sustainably sourced.
I am an accredited trainer through the Indian Block Print company, learning from their extensive knowledge, passion and technical expertise in how to get some amazing results. I also stock their kits and workshop attendees will get a discount code for any orders they place with the Indian Block Print company.
I have an extensive range of blocks, all relatively small and easy to manage to create designs of your imagination - patterns, random, lines, florals or creatures.. the possibilities are endless.
